A Columbia Business School grad, Axel previously spearheaded market growth for digital payments at Mastercard.He then led the banking team at Spendesk, a $300M+ funded fintech.

He's now bringing that digital payment and banking expertise to the crypto industry with Kulipa.

Michael spent 8 years as a Staff Engineer at Google before leaving to lead the development of WhatsApp's Commerce Platform.

He now brings that best-in-class software expertise to Kulipa.

Benoit is an expert in navigating complex regulatory environment, having built and scaled Nickel, Lemonway and Binance France’s compliance processes. He is now leading Kulipa’s efforts to scale globally with full institutional backing.

Diego started his career in consulting, working at Bain & KPMG.

He then became a Product Manager for fintechs, eventually working at Bitso, the leading centralized crypto exchange in Latin America.He also holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Marcela (Mars) has already went through the whole startup scaling process, having joined Uala as an early employee, experiencing both fast growth to 800 employees and merger with Treatwell. She then joined Mangopay as a Finance Operation Senior Manager. She’s now handling all financial processes at Kulipa.

Cal is a seasoned software engineer with a wealth of experience in blockchain technology and financial services. Before joining Kulipa, Cal worked at LexisNexis Risk Solutions and BCB Group, deep diving on blockchain infrastructures. As a Technical Architect at Thallo, he developed innovative Web3 workflows. Cal brings his deep technical expertise at Kulipa to build and scale our card solutions.

Greg has honed his skills as a Software Engineer at the in the UK government, Amazon, and Facebook, where he worked on complex, high-impact projects. Greg then brought his expertise to Skiplab, an early-stage startup, contributing to building it from the ground up, before leveraging this wealth of experience as Principal Engineer at Kulipa.

Erich is a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in payments, gained at Accenture and Curve. He then went on to build his own startup, Bippit, focused on employee financial care, before joining Kulipa, where he combines his deep payment expertise to early stage product building.

Daphnée graduated at LSE with a PhD, specializing in the regulation of financial technological innovation in France.

Her research focuses on crowdfunding and crypto-asset regulation.Before embarking on her PhD, Daphnée earned her master's degrees from the LSE in European Politics & Theory and History of International Relations, as well as from Sorbonne University in European Affairs & Law.

Joining Kulipa as employee #2, Victor helps on everything business-related. Before that, he worked at Alan and Zealy in similar CEO-office positions.

He’s also bringing VC and accelerator experiences from Breega and Entrepreneur First.

After honing his skills with a Computer Science degree from EFREI, Karl gained a wealth of experience as a backend developer on various projects, from startups to banking.

One of those projects was at Spendesk, where he met Axel while working in the Financial Services unit.
